V8 Hot Laps Half Day Platinum Experience - $995

Experience the thrill of driving a genuine Improved Production V8 Race Car. In this half-day experience, you will get 3 x sessions of 15 minutes each, with one-on-one tuition from a professional instructor. This is your chance to drive more laps and have more fun in a V8 car.

As we welcome you to motorsport on the day, our professional instructors, race spec V8s and real race tracks all combine to provide you with such an exhilarating V8 drive and ride experience that it will leave you wanting more.

Venue

Winton Motor Raceway, the nation's action track 

The circuit plays host to some of the country’s biggest and most prestigious automotive and motorsport events, including club days, historic meetings and motorcycle functions, as well as the more traditional sprints and circuit racing competitions.

Vehicle

V8 Hot Laps Race Prepped V8 Hire Car.

Track licence

A track licence is NOT required for drivers participating in a V8 Hot Laps Experience.

On the day

  • Please arrive at least 45 minutes before your session.
  • You will need to sign on and receive a wrist band prior to heading out on the track. 
  • For all V8 Hot Laps experiences use Sign on A unless otherwise notified to use Sign on B (See map on our website)
  • A mandatory safety briefing is held prior to your session in your car. If you are late for the briefing your session maybe delayed.

Minimum Age & Experience Requirements

  • Minimum age for a passenger is 14 years. (If you are under 18 you will need a Parent or Guardian signed authority).
  • Minimum age for a driver is 18 years (and must hold a current drivers licence).

Please note: All our V8 cars are manual, you need to be confident in driving a manual vehicle, this is not the time to learn to drive a manual vehicle.

Half Day - $995

A half day includes up to 4 hours at the track, choose between an afternoon or morning session when you book.

Driver requirements

  • Drivers and Passengers must be wearing full length pants and long sleeve top OR a race suit ensuring ankle to wrist is covered.
  • Helmets must be approved and must have a valid standards sticker. Motocross helmets are NOT accepted. (Helmet hire is available).
  • Enclosed shoes must be worn, exposed shoes such as Sandals or Flip Flops are not allowed.
